Over the course of the next few weeks/months I shall be experimenting the power of optimization (SEO) and monetization on a forum community which receives the visitor statistics available in the AWStats screenshot.

The site consists of an index page which links to a phpBB forum and the current earnings are negligible. The aim of this experiment is to Search Engine Optimize (SEO) the phpBB forum and site and once optimized, to maximise the revenue generated by the site via experimenting with various ad networks.

The AWStats also reveal the number of visitors in September 2008 to the site. The statistics in September are roughly similar to those of previous months.

The forum is based around celebrity images with Under 2000 members, many of which are SPAM registrations, created prior to Anti-SPAM software being implemented onto the forum.
